Getting to know... Tony Bush
Name: Antony Bush
Job title and office:
Partner based in our Chichester office.
How long have you worked as an estate agent?
I have been an estate agent since 1980 and started my career in Crowborough in East Sussex.
How long have you worked for Sims Williams?
I became an equity partner in Sims Williams when I bought the business in 1999 and head up the company’s Lettings Service and oversee residential sales in Chichester.
What qualifications (inc. membership to professional bodies) do you hold?
I am a qualified member of the Association of Residential Landlords (ARLA). We encourage all members of our team to achieve professional qualifications so that our clients know their property is being handled by professionals.
What’s your favourite place in the beautiful Sims Williams “patch”?
Our area has an absolutely superb coastline, and I particularly love Bosham, Itchenor, Birdham and The Witterings. I also love the South Downs.
What makes Sims Williams different from other estate agents?
We run our business in a very personal way and have excellent staff who provide the highest possible levels of service to help people with their moves. We always go the extra mile to try and achieve this. At the end of the day, we are only human and sometimes we get it wrong, and if we do, we will always hold our hands up.
What’s your top advice for anyone trying to sell or rent their property?
Make sure that your property is well presented and that you are totally happy with everything, especially photos, before you go “live”.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am passionate about sport and played rugby at County and International standard, and County level cricket. I now enjoy playing golf, cooking, walking and spending quality time with my family.
